San Francisco police on hunt for man who groped woman on Muni and street

San Francisco police are hunting a sex fiend who groped and assaulted a woman after she hopped off the N-Judah line in the Outer Sunset district on Sunday.

The attack was reported in the 1400 block of 42nd Avenue at around 2:45 p.m.

The woman told cops the predator, described as an Asian man in his 20s, boarded the outbound N-Judah at Carl and Cole streets and sat next to her. During the ride, the groper "folded his arms and began touching the woman’s waist and arm," police said.

The disturbed woman said the man followed her when she exited the light-rail car at 43rd Avenue and Judah Street. The attacker pinned her arms and grabbed her breast. The terrifying street assault might have become worse, but a good Samaritan driving by saw the woman screaming- and scared off the suspect, police said.

The groper remains on the loose, police said Wednesday.

Police described him as an Asian man in his early 20s standing 5-foot-7 and weighing 140 pounds, police said. He was last seen wearing a red plaid jacket and blue jeans. He had short hair and wore glasses.
