San Francisco mid-week crime recap 

Tuesday’s crime recap includes a burglary, shoplifting at Walgreens, a knifepoint robbery and a coffee assault.

4600 block of Mission Street
12:45 p.m. Tuesday

A man was caught stealing from a Walgreens, police said. He walked out of the store with headphones without paying. A clerk ID’d the crook.

Unit block of Rudden Avenue
11:17 a.m. Tuesday

Two burglars were arrested, police said. The victim was home when he heard the suspects banging on his garage, attempting to gain entry. He called police and they were arrested a few blocks away.

24th and Capp streets
12:30 p.m. Tuesday

A 23-year-old woman was robbed at knifepoint by four hoodlums, police said. The four hoods crept up from behind and one of them held a knife against the victim’s hip, took her cellphone and fled.

400 block of Edinburgh Street
11 a.m. Tuesday

A woman was assaulted and splashed with coffee, police said. The woman was trying to get into her car when another woman assaulted her. A suspect was arrested.
