Fans unable to make the 400-mile trek south to watch the San Francisco Giants-Los Angeles Dodgers opening day clash can enjoy the game at AT&T Park via the multiple TV monitors and centerfield Jumbotron.

The Guardsman, an all-volunteer Bay Area-based group is throwing the preview party with doors opening at 4 p.m. With opening day action televised via ESPN, partygoers will also get the chance to have their pictures taken with the 2010 World Series Championship trophy in between innings.

Tickets ranging from $35 to $100 can be purchased online with a limited number at the door. Coordinators are shooting for an attendance of 2,500 but are closing in on maximum capacity.
