San Bruno men arrested for firing at pedestrians

Authorities arrested two men Thursday who allegedly fired several gunshots into a group of people on a San Bruno sidewalk, police have announced.

At 2:15 p.m., San Bruno officers responded to reports of gunshots at Sylvan and Mastic avenues and found several firearm casings in the roadway, police said.

After speaking with witness, officers learned that two men inside a white and red, American-made automobile had fired several gunshots into a group of people, striking no one, according to police.

Shortly after the incident, Daly City officers located the two suspects in the car described by witnesses, police said.

Michael Apolinario, 21, of Pacifica, and Jeremy Azama, 21, of San Bruno, were arrested on suspicion of negligently discharging a firearm.
