Ruthless rogues run rampant in SF robberies, stabbing 

A heartless thug attacked a 70-year-old man with his own cane before taking off with a bag of groceries.

Unit block of Buchanan Street
6:55 p.m. Tuesday

A man, 28, was punched in the mouth and robbed, police said. The two thugs fled with his cellphone.

Third Street and Palou Avenue
1 p.m. Wednesday

A man was critically injured in a stabbing, police said. The victim was 30 to 40 years old, police said, and preliminary reports say the injuries were life threatening. He was taken to the hospital.

16th and Potrero streets
11:15 p.m. Tuesday

A 35-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint, police said. The victim was waiting at the bus stop when the gun-toting goon arrived, took his money and fled. No arrest has been made.

1800 block of Ingerson Street
7:05 a.m. Tuesday

A heartless thug in his 30s attacked and robbed a 70-year-old man and a woman in her 60s, police said. The thug grabbed the man’s cane, struck him in the face and fled with their groceries.
