Reuters/Ipsos poll portends GOP sweep in Ohio

Bad news for Democrats looking for some wiggle-room in the race for control of the U.S. Senate and over redistricting of the U.S. House:

Ohio Republican Rob Portman holds a narrow lead (43 to 36 percent) over Democrat Lee Fisher in a Senate race marked by voter worries about a stumbling economy and high unemployment, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Tuesday…

Note the use of “narrow” to describe a seven-point lead. I thought three points was narrow, but okay. Former Rep. John Kasich, R, has a “narrow” nine-point lead over the incumbent Democratic governor in the same poll.
