Reuters: Remember when Obama won praise for his ‘ass to kick’ comment?

Via Tom Maguire, here’s a jawdropping line from a Reuters analysis. As if the headline, “Is Obama dropping ‘no drama’ style with U.S. general” wasn’t quizzical enough, near the end we get this:

Obama has been widely criticized for not showing enough anger and emotion over the oil spill, the worst ecological disaster in U.S. history. But he won praise for his uncharacteristic comment that he was looking for an “ass to kick.”

Perhaps instead of “praise” the author meant to type “widespread ridicule,” because otherwise that makes no sense.
