Restaurateurs plan to open a venture in the ground-floor garage of a two-unit residential building in the North Point neighborhood.
A permit application was filed with the Planning Department to convert a garage at 2735 Hyde Street, which is near Beach Street, into a 625-square-foot restaurant called D and D Bistro.
Other restaurants and businesses already occupy the ground floor of residential buildings on the lively 2700 block of Hyde Street, which is near Aquatic Park.
The Planning Commission is scheduled to consider the permit application on March 25.
