Restaurant chain’s billboards make light of Jonestown tragedy 

The management of a South Bend, Ind., restaurant chain thought it would be a good idea to put up billboards joking about the 1978 Jonestown cult massacre in which more than 900 people were poisoned.

The billboards said, "We’re like a cult with better Kool-Aid," with a picture of a glass containing a cocktail and the slogan "To die for!"

The billboards were quickly removed in response to complaints, and the company apologized.
