Residents get chance at input on Blue Greenway tonight

Local residents will get a chance tonight to weigh in on future planning decisions for The City’s southern Bay shoreline.

The Port of San Francisco will convene a public hearing at 5:30, with the focus specifically aimed on the Blue Greenway, a stretch of the coastal Bay Trail that starts at Mission Creek and extends to the southern terminus of The City. The Bay Trail is a regional network of coastal trails and hikes that stretches 500 miles across the nine counties of the Bay Area.

The public hearing tonight will take place at Pier 1 on the Embarcadero (at Washington Street), and is scheduled to last until 8 p.m.
