Red Carpet: Macy’s gets ready for Glamorama 

Glamorama Host Committee Kickoff: Last week at Hubert Keller’s Burger Bar in Union Square, Macy’s Passport hosted a preview party for its annual fashion event Sept. 24 at the Orpheum Theatre. This year’s host-committee chairs are Kelly Grimes, Erik Noland, Layne Gray and Anne Marie Massocca.


Feed bags nourish school kids

Feed USA launch: Model and designer Lauren Bush celebrated the launch of Feed Projects at the Chestnut Street Gap store in San Francisco on Wednesday. Under the program, partial proceeds from sales of the limited-edition designer bags will be donated to improve nutrition for schoolchildren through the National School Lunch Program.


Giving teens honored for service

2010 Diller Teen Tikkun Olam Awards luncheon: Last week at the Fort Mason Officers Club, five young Californians received $36,000 each from the Helen Diller Family Foundation in recognition of their exceptional community service. The honorees were Jason Bade, Megan Kilroy, David Schenirer, David Weingarten and Kyle Weiss.
