Red Carpet: Cal Shakes celebrates the good life 

‘La Dolce Vita’: On March 20, California Shakespeare Theater held its 15th annual fundraising bash at the Four Seasons Hotel in San Francisco. The gala committee was led by honorary co-chairs Ann and Gordon Getty and Barclay and Sharon Simpson. The party was inspired by the classic Fellini film “La Dolce Vita.” Among honorees was Jonathan Moscone, who’s celebrating his 10th year as the acclaimed company’s artistic director.

Furnishings in spotlight

One Kings Lane party: The Web site specializing in designer décor, furniture, accessories and gifts hosted a gathering in San Francisco last week to announce “Tastemaker Tag Sales,” which feature items selected by industry insiders. Co-founders Alison Pincus and Susan Feldman, along with designers and suppliers, were in attendance.

Joyner, arts committee unite

Pamela Joyner luncheon: Last week in the Asian Art Museum’s Peterson Room, Denise Bradley-Tyson, Alison Carlson, Gorretti Lui, Tanya Peterson, Regina Kulik Scully and Fran Streets hosted a luncheon in honor of Pamela Joyner, one of San Francisco’s more-prominent arts patrons, on the occasion of her appointment to President Barack Obama’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities.
