Rec and Park has mid-week cash-pot meeting

There’s a budget meeting in City Hall in the early afternoon Wednesday to talk about Rec and Park’s additional $2.8 million cut to its general fund.

At the last Rec and Park meeting the Director of Administration and Finance Katie Petrucione said they submitted a budget with an additional $2.5 million reduction, primarily through more revenue ideas.

She also said Rec and Park might be able to meet the remaining balance by closing out unused capital project funds.

She also gave a mention to General Manager Phil Ginsburg’s voluntary 10 percent pay cut from his $205,788 salary.

The meeting’s at 3 p.m. in the Board Chambers.
