KRON 4 reports that a Walgreens in downtown San Francisco is fending off a rat infestation.

The location is the second in the drugstore chain where rodents have been spotted. Last week, the S.F. Health Department shut down a Walgreens on Van Ness and Eddy streets after finding rodent feces on the shelves. The Van Ness store was closed for a day so it could be cleaned.

Now, KRON 4 says witnesses have spotted rats in the aisles of a Walgreens at Kearny and Sutter streets. This case does not appear to have been confirmed by the Health Department.

In a statement regarding the Van Ness store, Walgreens said that no other locations were effected.
