A pushy robber made off with a fistful of pills after knocking down a pedestrian on Market Street Saturday, police said.

About 5:30 p.m., the victim, a 37-year-old man, was approaching the corner of Powell and Market Streets with two bottles of prescription medication in hand when the thug, described as a man in his 50s, snatched the medication.

The suspect pushed the victim to the ground in the process, saying nothing before fleeing on foot. The victim reported the crime to Tenderloin Station police officers Sunday afternoon.

The suspect remains at large, Shyy said.
