President Obama, meet Candidate Obama on nuclear energy 

President Obama's proposal for government guaranteed loans to build new nuclear energy plants in Georgia is a perfect illustration of one of the fundamental reasons public confidence in government is so low, and why politicians in both major parties are so distrusted (See recent New York Times survey in which 81 percent of respondents said they trust government only some or never).
