President aims to nominate SF Fed chief for DC post 

President Barack Obama wants to nominate Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco President Janet Yellen to take over as vice chairman of the Federal Reserve. Yellen, who has been S.F. Fed president since 2004, was a top economic adviser to President Bill Clinton. She is considered a dove on monetary policy, meaning she is more worried about high unemployment than rising inflation.
