Pregnant woman robbed, teen robbed then shot with BB gun in separate incidents

A pregnant woman and a 16-year old boy were both robbed then shot with a BB gun in separate incidents in the Visitacion Valley late Monday and early Tuesday.

The first incident, which involved the teen boy, took place at 8:01 p.m. Monday near the intersection of Geneva and Santos streets. The 16-year-old was waiting for a bus when about six men approached in a gray car. When they got out of the car, they held the victim down and stole his hat and cellphone. The boy was shot with a BB gun before the suspects fled.

His injury was not considered life-threatening.

The second incident occurred near Wilde Street and Fratessa Court at 5:45 a.m. Monday.

A 25-year-old pregnant woman was waiting at the bus stop when a dark gray car drove up and a 35-year-old man got out and approached her. The man pulled out a gun, took the woman's purse and then fled.

The victim was uninjured.
