Poor visibility causing delays at SFO

Low cloud levels are causing delays Wednesday morning at San Francisco International Airport.

Flights are delayed by anywhere from five minutes to an hour, airport spokesman Mike McCarron said. The delays stem from low visibility, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

Mineta San Jose International Airport spokesman David Vossbrink said there was mild drizzle and some clouds at that airport but "no problems on the airfield."

An Oakland International Airport spokeswoman was not immediately available to discuss conditions there.
