Police seeking public’s help identifying Nob Hill groper

San Francisco police are seeking the public’s help in catching a creepy perv who has been harassing women in the Nob Hill area.

The suspect is wanted in connection with a series of incidents that began in August, Sgt. Monica Macdonald said in a statement. The suspect is said to have walked up behind several women in the Nob Hill area and groped them from behind.

Police believe the suspect is either a dark-skinned white man or a light-skinned Middle Eastern man, Macdonald said.

He is described as being about 6 feet tall, between the ages of 25 and 32, with brown wavy hair with loose curls and a dark brown beard, Macdonald said. He was last seen wearing a green plaid button-up shirt, dark puffy Northface-style vest and dark-blue jeans.

Anyone with information about the suspect is encouraged to call the department’s special victims unit at (415) 553-9225 or the anonymous tip line at (415) 575-444, or send a text to TIP411 with “SFPD” at the start of the message.
