Police seek help in attack on man at Caltrain station 

Following an assault and robbery by a group of suspects at a Caltrain station Friday night, the transit agency’s police are reaching out to the public to help with the investigation.

According to Caltrain, a 47-year-old San Jose man was critically injured during the 7:30 p.m. attack at the Redwood City station. Caltrain said between nine and 15 assailants were involved as the man waited for a southbound train.

The suspects fled the scene before officers arrived. The victim was listed in critical condition at a hospital as of Saturday morning.
