Police searching for suspects in armed robbery of jewelry store at Westfield Centre

San Francisco police are searching for three armed suspects who robbed a Tiffany & Co. jewelry store in the Westfield San Francisco Centre this afternoon.

The suspects entered the high-end jewelry store at about 3 p.m. and ordered everyone in the store onto the ground, police Sgt. Monica Macdonald said.

An employee was then forced by the suspects to open jewelry cases, Macdonald said. The suspects left with an unknown amount of jewelry.

Video surveillance was not immediately available.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call the SFPD anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444.
