Police searching for escaped juvenile

Authorities are searching today for a teenager who escaped Wednesday from a secured detention facility in San Francisco, Sgt. Steve Mannina said.

No information is available on how the juvenile escaped or which facility he escaped from, according to Sgt. Neville Gittens.

The escapee, 16-year-old Angel Carrion, is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Carrion has a goatee and mustache and may be wearing a dark blue T-shirt, tan pants and white

socks, according to the Web site.

Anyone who sees Carrion is asked to notify the San Francisco Police Department immediately by calling 911.

A picture of the suspect with his name and description are posted on the San Francisco Police Department Web site at http://www.sfgov.org/site/police.
