Police confirm gunshots fired into Mission residence, arrest three suspects

Police have confirmed there was indeed a gunshot fired into a Mission district residence Tuesday, Officer Grace Gatpandan said, and three people were arrested in connection with the incident.

About 4:59 p.m. in the 800 block of Treat Avenue, at least one bullet was fired into a home, breaking a window and endangering a 4-year-old child, Gatpandan said.

After the shooting, witnesses reported seeing three people run up the stairs to a nearby residence.

Police arrived and blocked off the street, then arrested two men and one woman, Gatpandan said.

The two men were identified as Reynold Fino, 21, and Jose Molina, 20, both of San Francisco. They were booked into County Jail on charges of discharging a firearm in an inhabited dwelling, probation violation, inflicting injury to a child, firing a gun in a gun-free school zone, possession of a large-capacity magazine, destruction of evidence and conspiracy.

The woman was identified as 21-year-old San Francisco resident Priscilla Franco. She was booked on charges of felony conspiracy and destruction of evidence.

No one was actually struck by gunfire, Gatpandan said. The charge of inflicting injury to a child is due to the traumatic nature of being inside a house into which a bullet was fired.
