Planning leaders to address issues of responsible expansion at SPUR meeting

As the center of the region, San Francisco’s policies for planning expansions could be crucial precedents for other urban hubs, and it’s important that The City conducts in growth policies in a responsible manner.

How The City goes about this will be discussed in detail by top planning officials on Wednesday at SPUR, a local think tank. San Francisco Planning Department director John Rahaim and Ken Kirkey, director of the Association of Bay Area Governments will address the lunchtime forum, which will last from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at SPUR’s headquarters at 654 Mission Street.

The meeting is free for SPUR members, and $5 for non-SPUR members.
