The first U.S. exhibit to examine the art, culture and history of West Africa’s Tuareg people opens at Stanford University. The show, "Being Tuareg: Sahara Nomads in a Modern World," contains more than 200 objects. The free show is at the Cantor Arts Center, Stanford University, Stanford. Hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays; until 8 p.m. Thursdays.
