Gas fraud: An employee of Bayshore Ambulance is charged with fraudulent use of a company gas card to fill up his private vehicles with $160 of gasoline.

Millbrae

Accord burglary: An iPod charger, an FM transmitter worth $70 and a garage door opener were stolen from a Honda Accord on Murchison Drive sometime overnight Oct. 8.

San Carlos

DUI: A 27-year-old Palo Alto man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol Oct. 6 at 2:30 a.m. He was cited and released to First Chance.

Burlingame

GTA Passat: A silver 1999 Volkswagen Passat was stolen from in front of a house on the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue sometime overnight Oct. 10.

San Bruno

Vandal or inept thief: A vehicle owner reported that his front tires were punctured and his door lock was tampered with sometime overnight Oct. 10 while parked on the 400 block of Oak Avenue.

South City

Piggy bank robbery: An unknown burglar ransacked an apartment on Carter Drive sometime overnight Oct. 8, stealing a full jewelry box and a piggy bank.

Belmont

GPS gone: The increasingly popular Global Positioning System device burglary racket struck again on Monserat Avenue sometime overnight Oct. 11. The owner said his vehicle was locked, and there were no signs of forced entry.

Redwood City

Thief hang-up: A man whose Nokia cell phone was stolen while he was at Sequoia Hospital called his own number at 6:42 p.m. Oct. 1 and somebody answered but hung up quickly.
