San Mateo

Jumping hoodies: Two males wearing hooded sweatshirts, one dark- and one light-colored, were reported jumping over fences and running toward Poplar Street at 5:46 a.m. Oct. 16 on the 400 block of West Ellsworth Court.

Out of control: A beige Jeep Cherokee spun out of control and hit the fence that separates the roadway from the U.S. Highway 101 offramp on the 2000 block of Winward Way at 2:48 p.m. Oct. 16.

Burlingame

Escaped from ward: A woman wearing a hospital gown and a hospital ID bracelet was going through garbage cans on the 1800 block of El Camino Real at 10:32 a.m. on Oct. 14.

Belmont

Strange switcheroo: A license plate was stolen from a car parked on Davey Glen Road and replaced by an unknown plate, presumably from a stolen car, sometime during the hours prior to 12:06 p.m. Oct. 13.

San Bruno

Skyline dragsters: The most recent of repeated complaints that noisy drag-racers were bothering neighbors along Skyline Boulevard south of Westborough Boulevard was phoned in at 2:43 a.m. Oct. 16.

Redwood City

Fighting while drunk: Seven drunken youths were fighting at 9:45 p.m. on Oct. 5; one had received a bloody lip. Another suspect wearing a red beanie stated that he was going to stab someone. Police ended the fracas, medics were called, but the victim declined to prosecute.

Shoot the moon: Eight shots were fired after midnight Oct. 6 at the intersection of Shasta and Laurel streets. Police found the 9mm shell casings the next afternoon.

Daly City

Hot night at Annex: Two Saturday night drinkers became engaged in a confrontation which led to punches outside the Annex Bar, 6282 Mission St., at 1:10 a.m. Oct. 14.
