These are excerpts from Peninsula police departments’ daily log of activities. Incidents are listed by city.

Redwood City

Roller rink robbery: A strong arm robbery occurred at Redwood Roller Rink on Main Street at 8:43 a.m. March 31.


Improper urination: At 2 p.m. April 2 at a school on Alameda de las Pulgas, a caller reported an incident of improper urination.

South City

Cigarette stick-up: At 10:16 p.m. April 4, a man entered a gas station near Linden Avenue and Airport Boulevard and asked the cashier for a pack of Newport cigarettes and two Swisher Sweets cigars. When the cashier turned around, the man had taken out a small, gold-colored handgun and pointed it at the cashier. The man told the cashier to open the register and give him all the money. The man was described as 19 to 20 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 170 pounds, with short black hair and a dark complexion. He took approximately $500, Newport cigarettes, two Swisher Sweets cigars and fled the scene on foot westbound on Linden Avenue.

San Mateo

In the red: A caller said he had $2,400 in bills with red dye on them and would meet officers at 4:35 p.m. March 31 at 2600 S. Delaware Street.

Locked out: At 7:52 p.m. March 31 at 100 block of 37th Avenue, a caller said the locks of his apartment had been changed and his roommates moved out, but he still had property in the apartment.

Daly City

Fight: A disturbance and fight occurred on the 3300 block of Junipero Serra Boulevard at 2:03 a.m. March 31. One person was booked into county jail for battery on a peace officer, one for public intoxication.


Get Florida on the line: A man on the 1300 block of Bernal Avenue called 911 at 1:38 a.m. March 31 to say he had an emergency: The operator would not help him "contact Florida."

San Bruno

Bottle toss: A man riding his bicycle was throwing and breaking bottles on the 1100 block of Huntington Avenue East at 11:01 p.m. on April 1.
