These are excerpts from Peninsula police departments’ daily log of activities. Incidents are listed by city.

Burlingame

Eau de meth: A woman said it smelled like there was a meth lab across the street on the 2200 block of Summit Drive before 3:39 p.m. on April 30.

Daly City

Failure to deliver: Grand theft by false pretenses was reported at 1:28 p.m. April 29 in the 300 block of Bay Ridge Drive by a victim of two people who received money for a car and did not deliver it.

Foster City

They all scream for ice cream: Baskin-Robbins staff reported at 11:03 p.m. April 30 from Edgewater Boulevard that a large crowd gathered outside the store was disgruntled that the free scoop night was over and the doors were locked.

The crowd was dispersed, and customers who were locked inside the store were released.

South City

Sharp turn: A caller reported at 7:09 a.m. April 29 that a Riley and Sienna Glass Co truck dropped two boxes of glass in the roadway at Grand Avenue and Airport Boulevard.

Accusatory campaign: A juvenile reported at 11:26 a.m. April 29 that someone had put posters up all over the El Camino High School on Mission Road saying that a student has been convicted of rape.

The school requested an officer to talk to the student and see if he knew who may have done this.

Unneighborly: A Spanish-speaking man spoke by cell phone to the California Highway Patrol at 4 p.m. April 29 on Armour Avenue through a translator that he had been having a problem with a female neighbor, and that she sent her husband to beat him up.

The husband allegedly hit him and kicked his bicycle.

Redwood City

Vandalism: A resident called from home to report vandalism at 3:57 p.m. April 29 at Highland’s Community Club on Fernside Street. The resident’s friend called her and said the building had a lot of spray paint on it.
