Millbrae

Return scam: Someone has been picking up receipts outside the Walgreens on the 600 block of Broadway, walking inside the store and taking items listed on the receipt and making returns with them before 9:09 p.m. May 28. 

Burlingame

Blood bath: A woman called and said she thought she was dying and blood was "coming out of everywhere" on the 1400 block of Floribunda Avenue before 1:49 a.m. May 25.

Belmont

Safeway greeter: A man in his late 20s wearing all black with a backpack was reported at 1:13 p.m. May 26 to be harassing customers in front of the Safeway on El Camino Real. The manager had asked the man to leave, but he refused.

San Mateo

A woman of a certain weight: A resident reported that an Asian man came to her door at 1:09 a.m. May 26 asking if a chubby woman lived at the address on the 3700 block of Martin Drive. He left northbound on Martin.

South City

Target window: A caller reported at 8:51 a.m. May 25 that a front living room window had been shot with a BB gun overnight at Tipperary Avenue.

Daly City

BlackBerry snatched: A caller reported at 6:57 p.m. May 24 from the 6000 block of Mission Street that she placed her blue BlackBerry Pearl cellr phone, valued at $299, on a dryer as she was doing laundry and turned around and it was gone.

Redwood City

Fact-finding mission: The school district office reported at 9:52 a.m. May 23 that the father of an assault victim, accompanied by a person with a bat, went to another student’s house and demanded answers about the assault. The victim was in school.

Witness: A grandmother reported at 10:58 a.m. May 23 that her granddaughter witnessed a gang fight, and the granddaughter received threats on her cell phone telling her to watch her back and her home.
