Peninsula Police Blotter: Neighborhood crime log 

These are excerpts from Peninsula police departments’ daily log of activities. Incidents are listed by city.

Redwood City

Shout: At 8:11 p.m. Jan. 5 on Claremont Avenue, a caller said four people outside were yelling and banging on something. It was unknown who the people were yelling at because the caller did not know what apartment they were addressing. The caller could not describe the subjects, possibly all men, who left toward the park.

On the run: A black man, 19 or 20 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall, wearing a black beanie, black zipper hoodie and black shoes, was possibly hit by a vehicle while running Jan. 6. The subject got into the vehicle. Another running subject wearing a red sweatshirt and backpack also was in the vehicle. The address of the vehicle was checked without contact. One subject was taken to Chope Emergency and later to juvenile hall.

Daly City

Parole violation: A caller reported at 9:43 p.m. Jan. 9 on CerroDrive that a man was prowling and impersonating a parole officer. The suspect entered the backyard and tried the rear door, he then entered the residence using a key. When confronted by the resident, he said he was a San Mateo County parole officer. He then fled in a white Honda Prelude. A complaint was sought.

South City

Fired up: A caller from Western Vault Security on Swift Avenue reported at 10:02 a.m. Jan. 7 that an employee who had just been terminated was irate, had punched a wall and was refusing to leave the premises.

Burlingame

Disturbing request: Someone said a man who lives on the 1400 block of Floribunda Avenue called his friend before 1:09 a.m. Jan. 6. in Marin to say he needed a gun so he could kill his girlfriend.

Millbrae

Barista busted: A Starbucks employee was cited and released in the parking lot after driving with a suspended license at 4:39 p.m. Jan. 10 at 513 Broadway. She was allowed to park her vehicle and arrange for a licensed driver to retrieve the vehicle.
