Peninsula Police Blotter: Neighborhood crime log 

These are excerpts from Peninsula police departments’ daily log of activities. Incidents are listed by city.

Redwood City

School scare: At 12:19 p.m. Feb. 10, a juvenile was reported on the roof of the school with toy guns and scaring passers-by. The 12-year-old possessed a toy rifle and toy pistol.

Honk if you’re from Boston: A person called at 9:56 p.m. Feb. 9 from Alameda de las Pulgas to complain that a car horn had been honking for an hour. The vehicle was possibly from Massachusetts. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.

Belmont

Did you leave a tip? A reporting party called at 3:01 p.m. Feb. 13 stating that he was assaulted when a water bottle was thrown at him and that he was almost run down with a car by an employee of Hobees Restaurant on Shoreway Road.

Burlingame

 Uncorked: Wine worth $1,000 was stolen from a storage unit on the first block of El Camino Real before 6:42 p.m. on Feb. 11.

Daly City

Window pain: A caller reported vandalism by a BB shot to his south living room window at 11:30 p.m. Feb. 9 from the 100 block of Serra Vista Avenue. The BB did not penetrate the residence but cracked the window with damage estimated at approximately $400.

Armed robbery: A caller reported an armed robbery of $30 by two unknown suspects with a handgun at 9:20 p.m. Feb. 13 at Rio Verde near Otillia streets. One suspect told the caller not to run or he’d shoot and ordered him to empty his pockets. Suspects were last seen on foot on Otillia toward Schwerin Street.

South City

Mystery napper: An elderly woman called at 4:22 p.m. Feb. 9 from Farnee Court to report that she woke from a nap to find a female passed out on her couch and doesn’t know what’s wrong with her. She stated that she plays cards with this person. The elderly woman has called before.
