These are excerpts from Peninsula police departments’ daily log of activities. Incidents are listed by city.

South City

Thievery corporation: Grand theft was reported at 6:17 p.m. Feb. 17 at Cav Distributing Corp. on Utah Avenue after someone cut the power line to the building and blocked the driveway for someone trying to get out at 10:30 a.m.

Daly City

Can I crash here? A suspect younger than 21 years of age crashed his four-door 2008 Toyota Camry into the northwest curb of Hickey and Callan boulevards and was found asleep at the wheel at 3 a.m. Feb. 16. He was driven home.

Iron fist: A suspect was arrested and booked into the main jail on charges of being in possession of metal knuckles at 6 p.m. Feb. 16 while in March Bank Park.

Redwood City

Time to go: A caller by cell to 911 requested a check on a disturbance at 11:40 p.m. Feb. 15 at Mr. Frog’s Club on Brewster Avenue, where a subject who was asked to leave was circling the area in a white Ford van. The suspect was in his 40s or 50s.

San Mateo

Dog fight: A caller reported a woman’s dog had bit the caller and that the woman was refusing to talk or allow the caller to look at the dog’s tag at 4:40 p.m. Feb. 14 at 1900 J. Hart Clinton Drive.

Extra, extra: Two male subjects were throwing newspaper stands at each other and were reported by a caller who was unable to get any more information at 1:18 p.m. Feb. 15 at 20th Avenue and S. El Camino Real.

Rib injuries: A couple got into a verbal argument that turned physical, causing bruising and punching to the woman’s upper torso area and injuries to her rib cage. The incident was reported at 12:11 a.m. Jan. 25 from Polhemus Road.

San Bruno

Maybe they were playing blackjack: Someone heard a man and woman arguing and heard the woman say, "hit me, hit me" on the 800 block of Commodore Drive at 7:09 p.m. on Feb. 19.

Mistreated trees: Vandals caused about $500 in damage to seven trees on the 100 block of Cambridge Lane before 8:06 a.m. on Feb. 19.
