These are excerpts from Peninsula police departments’ daily log of activities. Incidents are listed by city.

San Mateo

Aggressive sales tactics: At 7:32 p.m. March 13 at 800 Bermuda Drive, a caller reported that a 16-year-old wearing a white coat and dark pants was trying to sell cleaning products. When the caller asked her to leave, the teen refused and started yelling at her.

Kindergarten cops: At 9:57 p.m. March 13, a party called police about a 5-year-old child who was out of control and hitting his mother and staff.

Belmont

Tree dispute: A caller reported at 5:10 p.m. March 12 from Ralston Avenue that his neighbor’s gardener caused a disturbance about a tree and tried to hit him with a shovel. The gardener was no longer present at the address.

Burlingame

Road block: A possibly drunk man was seen standing in the middle of the 1500 block of California Drive at 7:12 a.m. on March 17.

San Bruno

Get whom? A woman went into her home and heard a man yell, "get her now, get her now," but she didn’t see anyone. This occurred on the 200 block of Mastick Avenue before 8:19 p.m. on March 17.

Some friends: A woman was threatened by her sister’s friend, who said she would "take care of him" before 12:01 p.m. on March 17.

Millbrae

Not toying around: Police warned a young girl after she threw toys over a fence on Millbrae Avenue before 5:28 p.m. on March 17.

Daly City

Concealed firearm: A disturbance call was placed at 11:36 p.m. March 16 in the 600 block of Schwerin Street, where a suspect was charged with concealing a firearm on his person and resisting arrest. He was found to be a felon with a Colt .22 long rifle semiautomatic, which was placed into property room for evidence.
