Burlingame

Fake out: The driver of a white vehicle hit another car and told the victim to pull into a parking lot, but then drove away on the corner of Bayshore Highway and Mitten Road before 1:32 p.m. March 24.

San Bruno

Belted: A boy said his uncle, who is in his 40s, struck him with a belt on the 700 block of Third Avenue before 7:40 p.m. on March 24.

San Mateo

Ugly display: Beauty World on Bovet Road called at 1:42 p.m. March 20 to report that a subject was causing a disturbance by taking other people’s property and trying to lock herself in an office.

Go away: A woman called about a male sitting next to her on a bus who continued to follow her home at 3:57 p.m. March 20 at Shoreview Avenue and South Norfolk Street.

South City

Offensive behavior: A caller reported malicious mischief at 12:25 p.m. March 24 on Baden Avenue regarding juveniles putting graffiti on a fence. As they fled, they broke part of the fence.

Foster City

Who are you? At 6:03 p.m. March 25 on Flying Mist Isle, a caller reported that a woman in her 70s walked into her residence through an unlocked door and was stealing things. The subject was contacted and was found to be a recently hired caregiver.

Belmont

Stolen checks: Someone on Cipriani Boulevard said at 8:52 a.m. March 26 that checks were stolen from her.

Daly City

Auto theft: A red 2000 Honda Prelude was reported stolen at 5:54 p.m. March 20 from School Street between the hours of 6:30 p.m. March 19 and 7:15 a.m. March 20.
