Peninsula: Alleged gang members in court for bail hearing

Two reported gang members accused of trying to drag off a young girl during a San Mateo robbery will appear before a judge in South San Francisco for a bail hearing today.

Simon Fajardo, 19, and a 16-year-old boy are both being held without bail in the July 10 incident. According to prosecutors, the pair came from Hayward and committed two armed robberies and a car burglary. When they attempted to hold up their third victim, the man refused to give up his wallet, prosecutors said. The pair then allegedly tried to abduct the man’s 13-year-old daughter.
