Pedestrian struck by car at Divisadero and Fell in San Francisco 

A man walking in a crosswalk at Divisadero and Fell streets in San Francisco was struck by a car making a left turn Wednesday morning.

The accident was reported at 7:03 a.m. at the intersection of Divisadero and Fell streets in the Panhandle neighborhood of San Francisco, San Francisco Fire Department spokeswoman Mindy Talmadge said.

The pedestrian was in a crosswalk when a driver traveling north on Divisadero Street turned left onto Fell Street and struck him, San Francisco police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza said. The man was transported to the hospital.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with officers, he said.

The pedestrian's injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, Talmadge said.
