Pedestrian critically injured in San Francisco Richmond district crash

A pedestrian was critically injured after being hit by a vehicle in the Richmond District Saturday night, police said.

The person was struck by an eastbound vehicle while crossing in the crosswalk at Fulton Street and 20th Avenue at about 10 p.m., according to police.

The driver stopped at the scene and cooperated with officers, and there was no sign alcohol or drugs were involved, police said.

The pedestrian was taken to San Francisco General Hospital and remains in critical condition, police said.
