Peaches Geldof, the model and television presenter who was concert organizer Bob Geldof's daughter, has died at age 25. Bob Geldof said in a statement Monday, April 7, 2014: "Peaches has died. We are beyond pain."
Peaches Geldof died Monday at age 25 — just a few hours after posting a picture of herself with her late mother, Paula Yates, on Instagram.

The U.K.’s Daily Mail reports that the married mother of two young sons, who often spoke of how she struggled after her own mother’s death from a heroin overdose in 2000, was found by police at her house in Wrotham, England, at 1:35 p.m.

Police officials called the death “sudden” and “unexplained.”

Peaches’ heartbroken father, musician Bob Geldof, led tributes to his daughter, a model, TV host and fashion writer in the U.K. who seemed to have undergone a transformation from wild party child to earth mother in recent years.

Her husband, Thomas Cohen, released a statement: “My beloved wife Peaches was adored by myself and her two sons Astala and Phaedra. I shall bring them up with their mother in their hearts every day.”

Celebrities shocked and saddened by the news included Lily Allen, Sharon Osbourne, Alyssa Milano and Lorde.
