Pats WR Ochocinco, head down, heads to Super Bowl

When Chad Ochocinco arrived in New England, he knew he would have to keep his head down and work hard to fit in with the businesslike Patriots.

After the worst statistical season of his career, he's glad he came.

Ochocinco said Thursday it's been a humbling experience for him to serve as a backup receiver. But it's worth it for the chance to play in the Super Bowl.

Said Ochocinco, "I'm happy, but the competitive side of me is (upset)."

Ochocinco had 15 catches for 276 yards and one touchdown this season, all career lows. But next week he will head to Indianapolis to play in the NFL title game for the first time.

Before coming to New England, he had never won a playoff game.
