Part of roadway closed for repairs

Several lanes of El Camino Real in Burlingame will be closed for a week for construction.

The northbound and southbound lanes will be tapered into one lane each between Bellevue Avenue and Fairfield Road from today through Feb. 22, according to traffic officials.

Northbound traffic will be squeezed into the No. 2 northbound lane, and southbound traffic will be diverted into the No. 1 northbound lane of El Camino Real.

The closure began Tuesday.
