Pantless man causes havoc in Outer Mission

This running nut cracked far away from Bay to Breakers.

The pantless man allegedly smashed the window of a vehicle in the Outer Mission neighborhood Sunday around 3 p.m., and may have stolen items, police said.

A witness reported seeing the man “running around Mission Street with no pants on,” police said. Cops also heard on dispatch about the suspect involved in the window smash.

Police officers went to the scene of the vandalized car and spoke to the owner. The owner said items were missing from the vehicle, police said. They then received a report of the same pantless man running amok on Geneva Avenue.

Cops found the man and detained him.

He was transported to the hospital for medical evaluation, police said.
