Oracle conference opens big 

Software giant Oracle Corp. welcomed more than 40,000 attendees to its OpenWorld 2009 conference, which will be held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco through Thursday. The global business and technology conference includes educational sessions, live Oracle product demos and countless opportunities for networking, among other features, according to the Redwood City-based company.
