Opponents of zoo proposal say some dwellers already rescued animals 

Opponents of a push to transform the San Francisco Zoo into a home for rescued animals have proposed commissioning a report to show the public that already more than one-eighth of the zoo’s dwellers were rescued animals. A proposal by Supervisor Chris Daly to reinvent the zoo as an animal rescue center is due to be considered by the Board of Supervisors today.
