Open space happy hour at City Hall

If you feel so inclined to brush up on the latest Sharp Park plans or understand how the Hunters Point redevelopment will affect open space, there’s a meeting you can crash at City Hall on Tuesday.

It’s the Park, Recreation and Open Space Advisory Committee, also known as PROSAC, with 23 people who were appointed by their district supervisors or by Mayor Gavin Newsom to serve as a liaison to Recreation and Park commissioners.

On Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., the committee members will discuss what they think should happen with a major sea wall at Sharp Park and whether they agree with the draft EIR for Hunters Point, among other topics.
