One arrested in Bayview shooting, no victims reported 

One person was arrested in a shooting in the Bayview on Monday, police said.

Officers were reportedly on the scene and witnessed gunfire in the area of Fitzgerald Avenue and Hawes Street about 6:44 p.m. and located two suspects in a car.

The car fled to the Double Rock public housing development and one suspect, a man who appeared to be in his 20s, fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.

A 24-year-old woman, who was reportedly driving the vehicle, was arrested. Her identity remains unknown Wednesday morning.

No one was apparently struck by the gunfire, police said.
