Old Dominion dominates William & Mary 68-44 

Chris Cooper scored 14 points and grabbed nine rebounds as Old Dominion dominated William & Mary in a 68-44 victory Saturday.

The Monarchs (14-9, 9-2 Colonial Athletic Association) scored the game's first 12 points. William & Mary tied it at 20-all on a 3-pointer by Quinn McDowell, who led the Tribe (4-19, 2-9) with 15 points. That was one of seven first-half treys by William & Mary. McDowell was the only Tribe player to finish in double figures with 15.

But ODU went on a 20-8 run, scoring the last six points of the half to lead 40-28 at the break. The Monarchs led by 21 points midway through the second half and by as many as 27 before coasting home.

Old Dominion had a 35-21 edge in rebounding, including 13 offensive boards. ODU shot 28 for 54 from the floor while the Tribe was just 16 for 40.
