Ol’ rock-in-chain leads to man’s arrest in Sunnyside 

This David was a Goliath pain, police said.

An allegedly crazed vandal wielding a rock attached to a chain was arrested Wednesday in San Francisco’s Sunnyside neighborhood, police said.

Cops responded around 1:25 p.m. to a call about an out-of-his-mind man who was causing damage to public and private property in the in the 400 block of Monterey Boulevard.

Witnesses say the man was damaging street signs, a bus shelter and a garage door with his makeshift morning star. A witness positively identified the suspect to cops. The suspect lied about his identity to the officers, who soon discovered he had a felony warrant for his arrest, police said.
