Oh, Larry! CNN "most trusted"

Did we make Rick's List?!

Michael Calderone at Yahoo directs our scattered focus to a new 60 Minutes/Vanity Fair poll that found 32 percent pick CNN as the most trustworthy source of news, to 29 percent who said Fox News. Just 13 percent said the big networks are the most trustworthy, and a sobering eight percent said the New York Times.

No one was asked about MSNBC, which is probably a boon for the network, but still. Eight percent? For the New York Times? Hilariously, the Wall Street Journal and The Daily Show both rang in at four percent. Sorry, Murdoch.

The poll also asked "What is Swarthmore?" (one option: a throat infection) and "Would you go into space?" Seven percent said maybe -- but not if they charge for bags.

                  or snacks.
